Muszkat Consultants was founded in 2009 by Mr. Daniel Muszkat who has been working in the project finance industry since 2006 and Adv. Yoram Muszkat, owner of Y. Muszkat Law Offices and who has been practicing law since 1971.

Based on its experience and reputation for advising and helping arrange project finance for private sector clients investing in emerging markets, in August 2009 Muszkat Consultants was appointed by the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), part of the World Bank Group, to be one of MIGA’s five exclusive agents worldwide and actively advise investors on political risk insurance.

Muszkat Consultants provides specialized advice to private sector investors in emerging markets through two main products:

Political Risk Insurance: Muszkat Consultants as MIGA, part of the World Bank Group, agent advises clients on how best to mitigate the political risk through MIGA’s Political Risk Insurance (PRI).

Project Finance: Muszkat Consultants works closely with clients on their investment project proposals after analyzing the project fundamentals and conducting a mini due diligence. The Company then presents it to the financial institutions and facilitates their review and analysis so that the project could be approved quickly and the financial package could be completed.

A summary of the main project finance services include:

Assist the client in identifying the potential financial institutions, including multilaterals, which could best address the
          financing needs of the project based on their investment strategy

Initial review of all project documentation and start of discussions with selected financial institutions

Follow-up and assistance during the due diligence process

Guidance and advise during the negotiation of all legal documentation related to the financial package

Assistance up to disbursement of funding
